Quality concreting, innovation and professionalism have been synonymous with the Smith family name since the 50's, when my grandfather Andrew Smith- the first cement finisher to introduce the trowel machine locally, owned and operated - Smith Cement Contractors- the leading Black cementing company in Atlanta.

My father Earl Smith, worked along side his father and like him, has been part of the growth of the city having worked on some of its top and most visible projects- Lockheed, the Ford and GM plants, UPS, Georgia Pacific, the Merchandise Mart, the World Congress Center with 75% of the pea gravel for MARTA, the Governor's Mansion and simply the whole of Atlanta - having been poured by the Smith family.

Since the age of 16, I have worked under and along side my father learning and perfecting the trade insuring that our history and reputation remain intact. On the site of a number of key jobs for the areas top contractors, I honed my craft and with my electrical engineering degree and newly acquired business skills, decided some 5 years ago that it was time for the Smith's to recapture our leading company and cement finisher status. On the eve of the new millennium, EsQuinn Concrete was born. Since its inception- I have been devoted to growing the company and its project and client list. While to date the bulk of our projects have been residential with a specialization in pea gravel and decorative concreting- our long history, high level of expertise and experience coupled with the addition of seasoned foreman and expert finisher Clint Jackson to our team - has lead us to aggressively pursue more commercial business.

Part of the changing face of Atlanta - the Smith family has been involved in the development and growth of this city. It is our home, one we helped build and where we intend to stay with the hopes of passing on our legacy to my son.

Our business is solid; run effectively and efficiently and with the highest level of integrity. We stand by our work and our unrivaled reputation- as my grandfather did some 50 years ago. Our growing client and project list testament to our ability to deliver.
